Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

FDM parts are built  by extruding think wire of high-end production grade thermoplastics such as ASA, ABS, ULTEM, offering strong functional parts for both rapid-prototyping and rapid-manufacturing.

This technology is mainly used to manufacture medium to large parts, tools & jigs that are strong and durable with the good accuracy and repeatability.

In our factory we currently have a Stratasys Fortus 900mc machine, producing parts at layer height of 0.127-0.5 mm in a wide range of thermoplastics.

It is highly effective in manufacturing of shells and part thats does not require support structures, it also enables honeycomb internal structured parts for high strength-to-weight ratio and costs reduction.

Effective maximal building volume: 900mm x 600mm x 900mm.
